Brainspotting Session – Healing Beyond Words
Access your body’s innate capacity to process and release what words cannot reach.
During a Brainspotting session, you don’t need to retell or analyze your story. Instead, we follow the wisdom of your nervous system. Through your gaze and inner sensations, we find the “brainspot” where the body holds unprocessed emotion — and stay present with what arises. This allows healing to unfold naturally, at your own pace.
Whether you feel stuck, anxious, or emotionally overwhelmed, Brainspotting can help you reconnect with your inner stability and sense of self.
It’s a deep invitation to come home — to who you truly are beneath the tension.
In my practice space in Amsterdam, Brainspotting is a gentle yet powerful method that helps you access the deeper layers of your brain and body where emotional pain, trauma, and limiting patterns are stored.
It’s not talk therapy — it’s a body-based process that uses mindful attention and the natural healing capacity of your brain to bring relief, clarity, and calm.

What Happens in a Session?
Brainspotting sessions are deeply personal. Every session is different for every client every time. Clients often describe the process as grounding, relaxing, even spiritual. It’s not uncommon to leave a session feeling lighter, more spacious, and more regulated.
The brainspotting process:
-
The session starts with a simple question: What would you like to work on today?
-
We begin by exploring the feelings or sensations related to your issue—often somewhere in the body.
-
We find the Brainspot—a point in your visual field that connects to the deeper layer of the issue.
-
Once we’ve found the spot, using a pointer, you’re invited to keep your eyes on it and simply notice what comes up—memories, feelings, thoughts, images.
-
There’s no pressure to talk, fix, or analyze. We allow your brain and body to do the work, in a supported and attuned space.
-
We often use bilateral sound (gentle music alternating between the left and right ear) to support brain integration and help deepen the process.
Note: New clients start with an intake session
Duration: 75 mins
Cost: € 112,50
What can Brainspotting Sessions help with?
Brainspotting therapy sessions help you find relaxation, ease and a sense of reconnection with yourself.
Brainspotting brings you back to presence — beyond overthinking, into direct felt experience. You will be able to find help for many of your physical or emotional complaints.
Themes we can work on:
- Anxiety, fear
- Burnout, exhaustion, chronic stress
- Emotional numbness, feeling blocked or frozen
- Grief, heartbreak, or emotional overwhelm
- Creative or performance blocks
- Physical tension related to emotional stress (e.g. tight chest, headaches)
- Unprocessed trauma or shock (recent or old)
- Birth trauma or early childhood trauma
- Psychosomatic complaints (IBS, hyperventilation, fatigue)
- High sensitivity (HSP) and emotional overwhelm
When you feel that talking alone doesn’t help anymore, but something inside wants to move, brainspotting could be your best next step.
Experiencing a Brainspotting Session
Brainspotting taps into your body’s natural ability to heal, regulate, and restore balance. It combines the latest in brain science with the deeply human elements of presence, safety and connection.
Therefore, the best thing to do during a brainspotting session is to relax, just be present and let the process happen.
Please note: New clients start with an intake session before the first brainspotting session.
